Introduction

Markus Lenz lives in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. After absolving the university, he holds the traditional German degree in business administration, internationally comparable with the Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is an economic historian and private pilot. He is professionally engaged in aviation history, research and aerial reconnaissance. Markus Lenz works for museums, libraries, state archives, companies, architectural offices and local governments, when they need professional advice, analysis and evaluation of historical aerial photographs. Besides swimming as a leisure sport, he does air sports and takes aerial photos. For photography he does not use a quadcopter drone, but basically his own aeroplane.
